Dear Friends,<\/span><\/span><\/div>

We are updating our file of applications from A.A. members who are interested in being considered for future openings for the position of GSO Staff Member.\u00a0 GSO Staff are members of Alcoholics Anonymous who rotate through various assignments such as Corrections, Public Information, Cooperation with the Professional Community, Literature, Conference, etc. \u00a0They correspond with A.A.s on all aspects of recovery and service, represent the General Service Office at A.A. functions throughout the U.S. and Canada, and provide the primary staff support for the General Service Board and the annual General Service Conference.<\/span><\/p>

Qualifications for this role include excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, comfortable using databases and online platforms, and the ability to learn new computer programs quickly is important, as is, the ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member. A.A. service experience will also be taken into consideration in addition to a willingness to relocate to New York City.\u00a0<\/span>Fluency in French and\/or Spanish (written and verbal) is a plus<\/strong>. A minimum of six years of continuous sobriety is required.<\/span><\/p>
