{"id":10024256,"date":"2025-07-29T08:35:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T12:35:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aa87.org\/evenement\/rq0913\/"},"modified":"2025-07-29T08:42:02","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T12:42:02","slug":"rq0913","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/www.aa87.org\/en\/evenement\/rq0913\/2026-09-13\/","title":{"rendered":"Daily Reflection September 13"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span class=\"field field--name-title field--type-string field--label-hidden\">Repairing the damage<\/span><\/h3>\n<div>September 13<\/div>\n<div class=\"clearfix text-formatted field field--name-body field--type-text-with-summary field--label-hidden field__item\">\n<p><strong>Good judgment, a careful sense of timing, courage and prudence \u2013 these are the qualities we shall need when we take Step Nine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Twelve steps and twelve traditions, p. 83<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To make amends can be viewed two ways: first, that of repairing damage, for if I have damaged my neighbor&#8217;s fence, I &#8220;make a mend,&#8221; and that is a direct amend; the second way is by modifying my behavior, for if my actions have harmed someone, I make a daily effort to cause no further harm. I &#8220;mend my ways,&#8221; and that is an indirect amend. Which is the best approach? The only right approach, provided that I am causing no further harm in so doing, is to do both.
