I hope you’re all well.

As agreed at the beginning of the year, I invite you to a briefing in preparation for the first pre-
Conference assembly to be held on Wednesday. This briefing will be held February 28, 2024,
starting at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom only.

This special event is intended solely for the Area Committee (DCMs, committee coordinators,
alternates, Steering Committee members) and the honorary delegates in preparation for the first
pre-Conference assembly, which will be held in hybrid format on Saturday, March 9, 2024,
starting at 10:00 a.m. at Centre St-Zotique, 75 Square-Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier in Montreal
(Métro St-Henri).

I will then present the 4 topics to be discussed at the first pre-conference assembly.

The reason for this meeting is to enable you to better prepare for the first pre-conference
assembly, and also so that you’ll be in a better position to answer any questions that may come
up from members, GSRs, assistants and so on.

These 4 topics address issues related to A.A.’s future, both for the US/Canada Conference as a
whole, and for our area and our members in particular.

This is a meeting not to be missed, and I hope to see you there!
