Wishing you all warm greetings from the General Service Office!
I’m pleased to announce that the retrofit of the office has been completed.
Before I share the details of our return, I first want to express my deep gratitude to each and every one of you for your patience throughout the duration of this project. Thank you!
In my previous communication regarding this project, I shared the unfortunate delays that were experienced due to the exposure of asbestos. The clean-up work finally began in mid-December and the project itself launched in the latter part of that month. The general contractor stayed true to their original estimate 10-12 weeks completing the bulk of their work last week.
We just received confirmation that our furniture will be delivered on Monday April 6th. The furniture set up process will take the balance of that week and all employees will return to the office the following Monday, April 13th.
Appreciating your continued patience to allow us to get our refreshed workspace in order, office tours and the Friday AA meeting will resume on Friday April 24th.
I want to extend a special note of thanks to our Facilities, Mail and Shipping and Technology Services teams who have gone above and beyond to support and keep this project moving and essential services to the Fellowship in place.
Again, I deeply appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support throughout this process. It has meant a great deal to all of us.
We look forward to welcoming you back very soon to a revitalized General Service Office.
