Launch of the Facebook page and the Youtube channel
« My son does not answer the phone but he answers my textos. »

« My niece never visits the websites but she checks the pages of her groups of fashion artists or others on Facebook. »
«An AA member is still on Facebook to join his friends and plan next weekend’s activities. »
A large pool of the population lives only through social networks. So there are surely some alcoholics in these batches! So how do we reach those alcoholics who still suffer?
Region 87 is happy to announce that it is now on Facebook. We will display ads that are already found on the aa87.org website. People can subscribe to our Facebook page to receive notification of the latest announcement posted.
Also, in order to preserve anonymity and avoid any controversy of our dear traditions, strict rules will be observed:
- It is not possible to comment on posts.
- The list of subscribers is confidential.
- The posts will be identical to those on the website, in a public space.
This page is not a space for exchanges between members, but simply an additional space allowing us to increase our visibility with members and non-members.
The Area 87 Youtube channel
We also have a Youtube channel where all the videos from our website aa87.org are grouped. Most of these videos are not “public”. Certain videos of public interest will be made visible on Youtube. This will allow search results on the web to display this important information for spreading awareness of the A.A. movement.
