C.E.R.A.A.S.A. is the Canadian Eastern Regional Alcoholics Anonymous Service Assembly. It is an event held every two years and sponsored by the 10 regions of the Eastern Canada Territory. In 2023, C.E.R.A.A.S.A. will be held in person in St. Catherines, Ontario.

To that end, Area 87 is organizing group transportation to enable as many Area 87 members as possible to attend this important service meeting.

Bus transportation is especially recommended for Steering Committee members, Committee Coordinators, DCMs, GSRs, and any regular and/or serving members of their group.

The purpose of the bus transportation is to give all our Area 87 trusted servants the opportunity to participate in C.E.R.A.A.S.A. and to create an atmosphere of fellowship and sharing and to live the service experience together.

Transportation is free. Area 87 pays $153 per participant for transportation (bus or individual transportation). However, a $153 deposit is required to reserve a seat on the bus. This amount will be refunded once the member who reserved the seat is seated on the bus. The $153 deposit is non-refundable until departure on February 24, 2023 to avoid empty seats. If you have reserved your seat and would like a refund for any reason, you will need to sell your reserved seat to another member, or give your seat to another member, or make a contribution to the Seventh Tradition. You will need to notify the Reservations Representative by mail delegue-adj@aa87.org.

Reserving rooms at the Holliday Inn of St. Catharines and registering for C.E.R.A.A.S.A. is the responsibility of each member. The deadline for hotel reservations is December 26, 2022.

Departure is scheduled for Friday morning, February 24, 2023 and return is scheduled for Sunday, February 26, 2023, immediately following the conclusion of the event.

There will be one departure to Ste-Catherines from the South Shore followed by a second departure from the Island of Montreal. The locations of the departures are yet to be determined.
