CPC – AA at Université de Sherbrooke (Campus de Longueuil)

April 21, 2026 - AA at Université de Sherbrooke (Campus de Longueuil)

Presentation of the AA Recovery Program to nursing students at the Université de Sherbrooke in Longueuil.

Every year, the committee is asked by this university to give a presentation on alcoholism and its harmful effects. We have always taken this request very seriously, as it is an integral part of our mission to help those suffering from alcoholism.

Since nurses are the first point of contact for alcoholics when they arrive at the emergency room, it is essential to have a basic understanding of the disease and to tell alcoholics seeking help that a solution is possible—at last!

As usual, our presentation was very well received and many of the questions raised were answered.

We would like to express our deep gratitude to the Université de Sherbrooke.

Format of the presentation:

1) Presentation of the AA recovery program: 15 minutes

2) AA Speaker: 15 minutes

3) Questions and comments: 45 minutes
