February 18, 2026 - AA at Université de Sherbrooke (Campus de Longueuil)
Presentation of the AA recovery program to individuals pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
“Advise him to contact AA.”
Essentially, this was the advice that CMP representatives emphasized during three presentations given to 150 nursing graduates from the University of Sherbrooke (Longueuil Campus). The audience was more than attentive. In fact, to be admitted to this program, students must have completed a college diploma in nursing techniques and have field experience. So, whether in the emergency room, in psychiatry, in detox, or elsewhere, all of them had had the opportunity to deal with someone suffering from alcoholism.
They greatly appreciated the clarity of the presentation and the authenticity of the people who presented the recovery program suggested by Alcoholics Anonymous. In fact, one of the teachers sent us the following comment: “We have received very positive feedback again this year and consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to collaborate with you…”
Format of the three presentations:
1) Presentation of the AA recovery program: 15 minutes
2) AA Speaker: 15 minutes
3) Questions and comments: 40 minutes
4) Where to find AA: 5 minutes
