CPC – Welcome Area Assembly GSR

Welcome Area Assembly GSR : A Success

187 members participated in this assembly. For 55 of them, it was their FIRST time!
Another encouraging sign was that the proportion of young people (under forty) was higher than is usually seen at this type of meeting.

A sign that doesn’t lie. The AA recovery program is not a “generational” panacea. It is a program that has enabled millions of alcoholics to free themselves from the obsession with drinking and continues to equip new generations to set themselves on the path to becoming “happy,” “joyful,” and “free.” The photo shows the banner and information booth set up by the Cooperation with the Professional Community (CPC) Committee.

This was an opportunity to explain to the new GSRs that it is members of their group who hold the KEY that allows us to convey the AA message to certain audiences. They are the ones who know the person who teaches nursing or police techniques at CEGEP X or Y, medicine at McGill, HR management at HEC, etc.
